Hands Firmly In Pockets

The idea that everyone in this country can't have ready access to free literature is completely abhorrent” Lesley Garrett. millionairess, soprano, Muswell Hill resident, Labour Party supporter, who came "up North" to save her "local" Doncaster Library yesterday.

But we do, absolutely 100% free, 24 hours a day, all year round.

If Multi millionaire Garret and other wealthy authors, and not to forget near billionaire Rowling think libraries are important like me, why dont they put their hands in their pockets and help out to buy one, and while they are at it they can buy a forest or two.

You can hear that lovely soft toned clunk of the Mercedes car doors as they speed back to their piles. or is it they just want to make a political point?
